I've Switched to Walmart ( they're great) because Shutterfly is horrible

My last and final Shutterfly order for prints literally took 6 weeks to arrive and when it did arrive it looked like a truck ran over the package. I use Walmart now. I just ordered prints on Wednesday and they just got delivered, 4 days. I have never had a quality issue with their prints, they don't have the gimmicky confusing "shell game" pricing and the shipping charges are reasonable and not excessive like Shutterfly. With all the bad reviews on this board it's more than obvious that Shutterfly doesn't care about your business.

I don't really use shutterfly

I don't really use shutterfly. I am a my publisher customer. The books and printing on my publisher were top notch I hope shutterfly offers the same services at the same quality and price.

Terribly Slow

The company does a good job of printing your work but boy do they take their time to do it. I don’t understand why it takes two weeks to print some pictures. I ordered some basic prints two weeks ago and they still haven’t shipped. By the looks of the reviews of the company they don’t really care either. Very sad. Anyone have a suggestion for a better printing company?

Family history book

Beware! I worked on a family history book for over a year. I ordered 11 books at 2500. 00
There are no page numbers! They wanted to give me a 10.00 credit. Really?
They say they can't do page numbers... I have a table of contents with no page numbers!
The leather option is just crinkled black paper. Awful company

Bad service

I was a loyal customer of Shutterfly for over 10 years with hundreds of gift projects – but NO MORE. They have always had the most difficult website to operate, but I struggled and fought through it for the products - but NO MORE. Now they LIE about their advertising. I placed an order with 10 magnets for $ 1 each but they charged me full price for each. I reached out to customer service many times and never had any response. I later created an order of about $ 80, and the processing message said to order over $ 100 and get free shipping, so I increased it to over $ 100, and when I checked out they still charged me full shipping. I reached out to customer service many times and finally someone responded and said I had to have the advertising offer code for the order but it was just a processing message when ordering. I asked for refund for over-charges on both orders – but no response. I give up. I have switched to Mpix – a much easier to operate website, more product choices, a customer service that has already responded to me and corrected a problem with a refund, and better prices. Sorry Shutterfly.

Absolutely awful site

Absolutely awful site. I am in a virtual nightmare. Although I have signed in (and out) multiple times - and used three different browsers - the site continues to request that I sign in. PLEASE FIX THIS. As expensive as your products are, your website should work 24/7!

Quality Has Fallen Off Significantly

I created a cookbook for my family back in 2013. I have ordered the same book, using the same file, from Shutterfly three times. Yes, the price is high, but it has been convenient and the quality has generally been pretty good. Until now. Using the exact same file that has been stored on Shutterfly's website (not a copy of the file) should render the same results. Well, you would think this, but that's not what happened. The left side of every open-book set of pages SHOULD have had the photograph evenly spaced. Not this time! Some pages are higher, some are lower, and it just doesn't look professional this time. Even the cover is printed too high on the book. The previous copies (again, the same file that has been stored on the Shutterfly website) did not appear that way. Shutterfly appears to have fired its entire quality assurance and quality control staff. Sadly, I will have to re-create the file outside of Shutterfly and find another reliable HIGH QUALITY printer in the future. The price came out to about $50 per book this time (for a 38-page book) with their "discounts". (Why not just price the book fairly in the first place?) And I don't have time to reorder, as we are having a family reunion and there are a couple of people who have requested copies.

They do follow up on their 100% Happiness claim

I ordered four 20-page 8" x 11" photobooks, all the same. The first set that arrived was oversaturated, which has been a problem with Shutterfly in the past. I called customer service and they gave me credit and shipping credit to make another set. I toned down the photos a bit to compensate for the high saturation, but then the books came back undersaturated; apparently because I complained about the oversaturation in book 1! So I called customer service again, and went over things in detail. I was given advice on how to get the saturation and color that I wanted. (I edit the photos myself and don't need Shutterfly to do that.) I redid the set to my liking, and again received credit for the second set's books and shipping. This third set was perfect. The books turned out beautiful, once you get it the way you want. They aren't lying about 100% happiness being guaranteed.
I would use Shutterfly again; the end product is very good, and their customer service is also. I never waited long to talk to someone at CS.

New Shutterfly editor - SO FRUSTRATING

I was so relieved to see all the other bad reviews about Shutterfly's new editing interface. How did they take something so easy and fun and rewarding and make it impossible to do?!? I am so frustrated. All my photos are here, now I have to migrate everything to a new app because they screwed up their editor???? PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK!!!!!
